1. What makes you indispensable?

- Well.. I do hair and makeup. I make people beautiful. People couldn’t live w/o people like me.

2. What ways do you provide value?

- I cut all my friends and families hair.

3. How are you differenciated?

- No one that I know of in my family or my HS group of friends went to cosmetology school.

4. Do you lead or follow the crowd?

- Lead, bitch.

5. What does status quo mean to you?

- It means the way things are now. The ‘norm’ in today’s society. Fuck the status quo.

6. Why are you the best?

- Well.. this should be obvious.

7. Why should anybody listen to you?

- I’m… the one with the shears.

8. Do you like to try new things?

- Yes, I do.

9. When was the last time you read a book?

- And finished it? Been some time. Otherwise just a couple days.

10. What do you find when you Google yourself?

- Lol. I just did. Pictures of myself. And my work. I feel flattered and creeped out at the same time.

11. What are your goals? Stretch goals?

- Get into a good agency. Make it into the Union. Become awesome.

12. What kind of company do you work for? Dinosaur or Visionary?

- Well I’m gonna have to say Dinosaur. (what?)

13. Do you Google, Bing or Yahoo?

- GOOGLE FoSho’z

14. What are the big ideas in your head?

- I really wanna do a photo/hair story. Crazy big & structured hair, something very avant garde to submit to NAHA. Another goal is to follow through with my ideas.

15. Do you have a fire in your belly?

- Hah, yeah I just ate a spicy quesadilla. (serious, tho.)

16. Do you enjoy your job?

- I do, indeed. I need to seriously step up my game if I wanna be awesome, tho.

17. What new things are you learning?

- How to work more efficiently on set. Learning to be more confident with my work. Time management. All on the road to becoming successfully awesome.

18. Do you think?

- I’d like to think I do. Now I’m insulted.

19. Where do you want to be in 5 or 10 years from today?

- Out of my parents house. In a good agency. Working for the Union. Very awesome.

20. When was the last time you failed?

- I took online Traffic School a few days ago and I missed two questions. They said I failed, but then I ended up passing the final test anyway.

21. When was the last time you tried something new?

- I bought TIGI’s CATWALK root lifting spray and DAMN.. I rocked some big hair that day.

22. When you don’t know the answer to something do you Google it?

- Yah

23. Do you believe in creating circumstances?

- Yeah I think people too often just sit around and wait for things to happen, but you really just gotta go out there and make something happen sometimes outta thin air ‘cus that’s the only way you’re going to get ahead. Or well, it’s what’s going to keep you ahead.

24. What successful people do you admire and model?

- Julien D’Ys is an amaaazziinngg hairstylist. I admire him the most from all others I know of. My friend Angela is a kick-ass makeup artist. She has helped me in so many ways, I couldn’t thank her enough. I admire her drive and her confidence, and most definitely her ability to humble herself, as successful as she’s become. There are of course others, but my main two stand.
